Everyone had a great time at the MWWG

We had good food, great friends and wonderful dogs. Everyone met Skeeter one of the new dogs taken into WTCARE for rescue. She will make a wonderful pet for someone after her ear surgeries are complete.

Thanks to Pat and Norah for bringing her and letting everyone see first hand the good work done with some of the proceeds raised for WTCARES.

We wish Skeeter well in her final surgery, and a forever home in the near future.

100% OF T-SHIRT SALE GOES TO WTCARES
To support WTCARES, the MWWG is offering a great embroidered T-shirt design with 100% of your purchase price donated to rescue.

The T-shirts are Hanes Beefy-Ts 100% pre-shrunk cotton in "pebble" which is a neutral shade. The shirts are embroidered with an adorable Welsh puppy sporting a red collar and the words "Got Welsh? We Do" and "MWWG 2010". The embroidery is on the left chest of the T-shirt.

The T-shirts are available in sizes S through XXL for $15. Shirts also are available in 3X for $16 and 4X for $17 by advance order only. According to Hanes, the sizes are as follows:

S = 34-36
M = 38-40
L = 42-44
XL = 46-48
XL = 50-52

Some shirts will be available for purchase at the MWWG in sizes L, XL and XXL. To guarantee your size/availability, place your order in advance. Those attending MWWG can pick it up and pay at the MWWG. Those not attending can order now and your shirt will be shipped to you in September. There will be a small charge for shipping.

If you are not in the Mid-West or don't want the "MWWG 2010," you can order the shirt without that tag line.

Attached are auction items so far for MWWG 2010!

The print on the left is "King of Wales by Brad Pritchett of Tucson AZ. It is printed on archival non-glossy digital art paper with archival water resistant inks and should last well over 100 years if not displayed in direct, bright sun.

The small wearable art print pendant, with the chain, is also "King of Wales".

The next print in "Angel Folk Art" by cindi Lynch, Milwakukee WI. Hand signed on the front - she is an award-winning and widely displayed artist and has exhibited in galleries and museums and her work has been sold in all 50 states and 21 foreign countries!

The wallet is leather and I forgot to bring the info with me and will update this information later!

Start planning on what items you'll bid on - and remember, if you aren't present, you can always give someone your highest bid, to bid for you, OR, you can 'live bid' by computer!

Again, this is to raise lots of money for our many, many rescues. WTCares needs all the help you can give!

Mid West Welsh Terrier Gathering to raise funds for Welsh Terrier Rescue, WTCARES

The MWWG or WAG for 2010 will be in Shelby County Kentucky this year on September 11,2010.

This gathering of Welsh Terriers and their people is held each year to raise funds for WTCARES. It will be on our property off Vigo Road. Maps will be posted.

We will enjoy our dogs, and good Food from Ken-Tex Bar-B-Q for lunch, We will have raffle items and auction items to benefit WTCARES. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event, and for those people unable to attend you can buy raffle tickets and we will ship your raffle items to you.

We will post pictures to this blog of raffle and auction items for you to view prior to the MWWG.

We have commitments from some excellent artists for donations for the auction. The Welsh Terrier Quilt will be there for viewing and the raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the gathering.

We will have a fenced area for the dogs to romp and play, bring your chairs and your pop ups, we have a large building on the property so we can move inside if it rains.
